Disclaimer: Board Game Therapy Services & Privacy Notice - Board Game Therapy requires clients to complete an additional intake form. Board Game Therapy is only available via private pay and assessed an additional $25 fee for those not willing to review rules ahead of the scheduled session. Boardgame therapy is experimental and incorporates structured games to support communication, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and relationship development. This method is intended to compliment evdience-based clinical practices and may not be appropriate for every individual, couple, or family.
Participation in boardgame therapy is voluntary. Clients may decline to participate in any activity and are encouraged to communicate their comfort level at all times. Boardgame therapy services are not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric treatment, or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 or send a text to 988 for help.
No Guarantee of Outcomes - Therapeutic outcomes vary by individual, and no specific results can be guaranteed.
Privacy & Confidentiality (HIPAA & Texas Law) - This practice is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Texas Health and Safety Code and Texas Occupations Code Chapter 611.
Your mental health records are confidential and may not be disclosed without your written authorization except as permitted or required by law.
